SHONENKO won Jury's Special Mentions Award in 2006 International Taipei Film Festival

The winners of Taipei Grand Award of 2006 International Taipei Film Festival were announced on July 8, 2006. This year's Taipei Grand Award was selected by the 7-member jury, including Lao Chia-hua, Hu Tai-li, Alan I. Tuan, Chen Kun-hou, Ann Hui, Dai Jin-hua and Wei Ti. The million-dollar Taipei Grand Award goes to Do Over, the first feature by young director Cheng Yu-chieh and Liang-Yin Kuo's documentary, SHONENKO, won Jury's Special Mentions Award.
