Tibor SZEMZŐ，來自匈牙利的布達佩斯，畢業於布達佩斯音樂學院（Hungarian Academy of Music in Budapest），國際知名的音樂創作人，有三十多年作曲、配樂、演奏的經驗。

Tibor SZEMZŐ的配樂作品有，匈牙利導演Peter Forgacs的一系列「匈牙利私電影（PRIVATE HUNGARY）」紀錄片，以及曾獲得柏林影展與日舞影展「最佳記錄片獎」的「175紀事（PARAGRAPH 175）」。目前配樂作品由「HPS」、「Hungaroton」 和「Leo labels」唱片公司發行。

Tibor SZEMZŐ在80年代成立知名的匈牙利樂團「Group 180」，並於1998年組成他個人專屬的演奏團體「Gordian Knot」。

Tibor SZEMZŐ, graduated at the Hungarian Academy of Music in Budapest, has been writing, composing and performing music for 30 years.

Tibor SZEMZŐ, a Hungarian musician and also a filmmaker, has composed soundtracks for numerous films and documentaries of his own and others, such as Peter Forgacs’s series of documentaries entitled PRIVATE HUNGARY, and Rob Epstein & Jeffrey Friedman’s PARAGRAPH 175, the winner of the Documentary Jury in the Sundance Film Festival and International Film Critics Award in the Berlin International Film Festival. Recordings of SZEMZŐ’s music have been released on the HPS, Hungaroton, and Leo labels.

As a musician,Tibor SZEMZŐ was the founder of the acclaimed Hungarian modern ensemble Group 180 during the 1980s; his current performance group, The Gordian Knot, was founded in 1998.
